LeadSafeCNY Coalition
The LeadSafeCNY Coalition is a collaboration of stakeholders from the healthcare, housing, education, philanthropy and government sectors, as well as affected residents, that is working to build on successful strategies implemented in other areas of the country, harness existing resources, and make strategic investments to decrease lead poisoning rates in Central New York.
Subcommittees of the coalition are charged with establishing and maintaining a dialogue, discussing identified concerns, reviewing current practices, providing opportunities for feedback and working together to find solutions for county-wide lead issues. Membership in the subcommittees is open to all members of the community, including residents, property owners, contractors, educators and healthcare providers.
